Acorns has a team of very experienced staff, who all strive to deliver a high quality early years education to our children. We accept 2 year olds through to rising 5 year olds.
We aim to provide an early yearseducation that will help your child make a happy and confident transition to school.Following the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum, your child will learn new skills, whilst having fun and gaining confidence at their own pace.
Our Environment
Within Acorns, we have a vast range of learning resources and play activities for the children to make use of. Our enclosedoutdoor play area is also a safe environment for your children to further play and explore.
Our passion is to provide the highest quality education, whilst ensuring our children graduate from our setting with confidence, independence and well established personal and social skills.
Funding

We are in receipt of nursery education funding for two, three and four year olds; when funding is not received then fees apply.
SENCO
We have a team of practitioners with lots of experience working with children and families with special educational needs and/ or disabilities.
With parental consent, we can access a range of professional services to support your child, from speech and language therapists to children's paediatricians, educational psychologists to area SENCO.
Upon the transition to school, or possible other settings, we can invite the reception teacher or school SENCO into our setting for a visit.
Personal Touch
To enable a personal and secure setting at Acorns, we appoint each child to a member of staff as their key worker. Your child's key worker will not only be your first point of contact, but be a constant source of support and reassurance to your child.
Our key workers will also keep up to date records of your child's development and 'next step' individual planning.
Photographs and observations are recorded in each child's 'Learning Journal', which is available to parents anytime. Upon graduation, at the end of your child's journey with us, parents will be presented with this, as a memorable keepsake of your child's time with us.
